Stuart Little, BSc DipBldgCons MRICS
Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Quantity Surveyor
My career started with a BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying at the Polytechnic of Central London, qualification as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 1984 and surveying work on large scale projects. A change to smaller projects led to more studies at the College of Estate Management at Reading University: completion of a Diploma in Building Surveying in 2000, the additional designation of Chartered Building Surveyor in 2000 and completion of an RICS Post-graduate Diploma in Building Conservation in 2001. This was followed by more practical building conservation training at various locations across the country including the Scottish Lime Centre and West Dean College. My work on listed buildings is a vocation which started at St Albans Abbey in 1980, I am also a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings and the Building Limes Forum.
